Fort Lauderdale Interior Design

We hired Wendi a couple of months ago to help us create a complete floor plan and to make detailed decor suggestions for our high rise waterfront condo for year around occupancy. During our initial meeting Wendi made us feel extremely comfortable because she took the time to get to know us and our life style so that she could design our interior for us and not a pictorial layout in a magazine. The results were astounding. She provided us with diagrams for each room plus a decor board for each of them together with a book with the pictures and prices of each item, and their source. During the process she was easy to communicate with and never showed us any level of frustration in dealing with a husband and wife team that doesn’t always see eye to eye. In the end, we used many of Wendi’s suggestions, but not all, in part because the furnishings budget I gave Wendi was bare bones (she delivered a very livable solution to this modest budget) but we opted to enhance it to a higher level of fit and finish. Wendi even coached us on some of the renovations we were doing even though they were outside of her scope of work. We should be moving into our condo by the middle of November and Wendi will be on the top of our housewarming party invitation list and I hope she brings a camera!

We are currently working on a home renovation project with Wendi. My husband and I are in the process of remodeling our kitchen, and redecorating the family, dining and living room areas. It has been an absolute pleasure working with Wendi. She is extremely professional, pleasant, and truly talented. What I love most is that she is always accessible if I have any questions, ideas or concerns. I am enjoying an experience I initially thought would be stressful!

We hired Wendi to help us decorate our entryway, dining room, outdoor space and touch-up our living room. Wendi came in to our blank space and was very professional and systematic in her approach. She was a great listener and was very creative in her ultimate design by coming up with unique ideas, but keeping in mind what we were looking for. It was refreshing to work with someone who was not pushy, very detail oriented and thoughtful with her work. In working with Wendi, you can sense she really cares about her designs and the outcome for her clients. The end result was more than we could have ever imagined, and we love it! Hiring Wendi as the interior designer for my home was one of the best decisions I’ve recently made! To give a little background information on my project, I was looking for an interior designer to design/decorate my entire house. My house is 4,800 square feet, 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and I needed every inch of it to be decorated: from furniture, to light fixtures, to artwork, etc. The style that I was going for was contemporary, but that still had a cozy feel to it.

I interviewed four interior designers for my project, including Wendi, and from the moment I met her, I knew I wanted to work with her. We connected immediately! She has an amazing personality and exudes so much positivity, which to me is important, especially when you are trusting someone with something so intimate and sacred, such as your home. Besides just overall being a great person, she is extremely talented! During the initial interview, I described to her my overall style and showed her a few design inspiration photos from my idea book and she immediately understood the look I was going for. She got it better than I did! She completely transformed my home. She took my vision and not only made it reality, but made it better than I could have ever imagined. She literally made my home into a dream home, and that’s the truth.

Wendi did such a great job on my home that I also hired her for my mom’s house. I will also be using her as a home-stager for any of my real estate investments that I have in the future.
